Welcome to the 2015-2016 school year! I hope that you have enjoyed the summer and that your child is getting ready to start school soon. I am really looking forward to getting to know the students and families of St. Joseph School and reconnecting with some familiar names from my time at Ss. Peter & Paul.
Since I am new to the school, I would like to take this opportunity to give you a brief overview about my background. I am originally from Auburn and lived there for most of my life. As an elementary student, I went to a Catholic school myself. After graduating from Auburn High and Cayuga Community College, I attended SUNY Oswego. I earned my BA in Human Service and worked in that field for many years. I obtained my MST degree in Childhood Development at SUNY Cortland and became certified in Childhood Education. To gain an additional certification in Students with Disabilities, I attended LeMoyne College where I took classes in special education. I have over nine years of experience teaching students in both public and private schools.
If you would like to contact me before the school year begins, please feel free to email me at [email protected] I am looking forward to a wonderful year of working with you and your child!
