I would like to welcome everyone back to school this year. I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer and did many fun and fitness oriented activities. This year I am back to full time teaching and that means I am here 5 days a week. Students in K-5 will have PE 3 times a week for 40 minutes each class. This meets NYS time requirements for physical education. I am planning to use this extra time to do more skill building and improve fitness along with the activities we generally work on.
Grade 6-8 remain the same with 2-40 minute periods a week. I am also teaching Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 once a week.
I am looking forward to a fun year and hopefully some new things in PE
